Lewiston Peddlers' Faire / First Saturday in June annually​

This is a message to say how proud I am to live here in Lewiston and of the people who help make a difference.  I just came back (8:15 pm) from a quick trip down through old Lewiston as I still had some stuff to drop off for tomorrow’s Peddlers Faire.  It was a quiet, magical time.  The air was cool, the lighting was soft.  Booths were set up, the streets had been mowed.  Numbers were marked on the roadways, waiting for vendors to arrive in a mere 8-9 hours!

This is the 31st time that local volunteers have made this happen. Think about that – it takes hours of time; dedication and the will to make this happen. If you are a part of this event, in any way, shape or form, please take a minute and reflect on the joy that you are bringing to others. Because the effort that you have put into making this event will make a few thousand people very happy.   

You should be proud of yourself and proud of the community you live in to show all those visitors what we have to offer.  I’m proud.  You should be too.
